　　For single-phase brass,after deformation and annealing,the crystal grains appear polygonal and contain numerous annealing twins.

　　Moreover,brass possesses very good plasticity,allowing various cold deformation processes.Meanwhile,brass can also have a two-phase microstructure,and this type of brass is called duplex brass(or two-phase brass).

　　Therefore,the phase in question is essentially an ordered solid solution based on electron compounds.It is relatively hard at low temperatures but exhibits good plasticity at high temperatures.
